The beginning of CLĒO.

CLĒO began with a simple but deeply personal question:

Why did beauty products make the skin look beautiful in the moment, yet leave the skin feeling damaged over time?

Clēo had always loved makeup and the ritual behind it; the confidence, creativity, and femininity it inspired. But after years of daily use, she began noticing that many products on the market were compromising the health of her skin. Dryness, sensitivity, and imbalance became impossible to ignore.

She searched for makeup that could do both; enhance beauty while truly caring for the skin beneath it. Yet most formulas focused only on appearance, not long-term skin wellness.

That realization became the beginning of CLĒO.

Inspired by the same philosophy behind conscious nutrition, Clēo and her husband began asking themselves: if natural and organic ingredients could nourish the body, why couldn't makeup nourish the skin too?
